In Loving Memory of  Ram Wissel

Twin Lakes Soccer Association has suffered the loss of a very important member of our Soccer Family.  Long time friend and referee Ram Wissel passed away on April 27, 2008. Our deepest symapthy and prayers go out to Ram's family and friends.

**Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal.**

William J. "Ram" Wissel, 60, of Mountain Home, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 27, 2008, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis. His family will hold a private ceremony where he will be laid to rest next to his first wife in Mokane, Mo.

Ram was born on June 19, 1947, in Plainfield, N.J. to Katherine and Jacob Wissel. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Ram married Kakie Evans Aug. 15, 1971 in Laguna Beach, Calif. Kakie lost her battle with multiple sclerosis June 20, 1990. He re-married Shirley Watson July 20, 1991, in Mountain Home. Ram was a proud member of the Mountain Home community for the past 25 years. He served the area as an insurance agent and loved working with people. He also was very active in Twin Lakes Soccer Association as a referee and instructor. He became a grandfather to Dylan Nicodemo Aug. 20, 2007.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley of Mountain Home; two children, Ram Wissel of Fulton, Mo., and Suzanne Nicodemo of Phoenix; mother Kathrine Wissel of Toms River, N.J.; five sisters, Kathy Champino and Barbara Zaninelli , both of Florida, Pat Clayton of New Jersey, Jeanne Cleveland of Calif., and Terri Mattern of Missouri; and brother Jimmy Wissel, currently residing in Russia. Ram was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Wissel, and first wife, Kakie.
